The Lincoln Project has a video out that is so scary that it draws doubts about what roles various entities will play if Trump gets re-elected.The video depicts a father daughter trip that was to get the daughter an abortion and they get stopped by a police officer. The officer knows about the girl’s condition, knows what the trip map they are using indicates and is aware of the clinic destination they have in mind.
The father is charged with attempting to take his underage daughter out of state for an illegal procedure and the girl is arrested for attempting to escape motherhood. The thought that a police officer would have the personal information on these people is disturbing enough but then to proceed to the charges is even more outlandish.
A policeman should not have that sort of information and where the hell did such charges come from? This is the stuff of return to the dark ages. We know that a part of the world has already been thrown back to a time when religion was the first order and humanity was the last effort. Take a look at the middle east as that entire region has slipped back into the male ruled religious requirement of women being veiled in public.
To have faith may give some the support they feel they need to cope with the world. What text do they follow as every christian bible has a version identifier attached. That means that it was authorized by someone and that someone did the translation to further the message as they saw fit. All of the versions have some deviation from the original if you could find one.
We, as a nation, need common sense laws and common sense administrator of the laws to properly manage the country and provide the respect to our citizens, our nation, and our environment that is required. We have a populus of people that do not follow a single religion and we cannot force any religion on everyone.
The effort to rule through religion is a formula that promotes division and distrust. The domination of a faith in a region generally brings intolerance for others in the form of death. Believe as I believe or die, The current battles going on in much of Africa are over what belief will dominate.
The really sad part of all this is that every religion professes to be about love. Worse yet is the “Love thy neighbor as you love yourself” attitude and then go kill the neighbor cause they do not have the same faith. History tells us that at one time Catholics required Jews to repent and convert to have their soles saved and then killed them anyway because, well you cannot trust someone that is not true to their faith.
Again we are at the junction of minding your own business and let others do the same. You do not have all the answers, no one does and each of us needs to remember that.

There is an item on Military.com about vet benefits. One of the issues is that there is a large shortfall in the money to support the VA and pay the benefits to the veterans. In the article it says, we as a nation, borrow money to go to war. We are in agreements that make it necessary for us to honor those agreements so we have to borrow to support.
The fact that we supported the Gulf War, Desert Shield/Desert Storm and paid for all that out of our funds still bothers me. There is something about not supporting monarchies written somewhere. The fact that Kuwait has enough money to allow all the nation’s citizens to not work and have an allowance says that they have enough to pay for our support, which it seems they did not.
Is that being picky? Those of us that were sent there were not given an option nor were we paid extra as far as I know. Not like hired soldiers would have been paid at least. Point being maybe our shortfalls could be eased by requesting some pay back on our involvement. Just a thought.
Should we abandon those that we have agreements with? That is not the answer if we wish to maintain our status in the world. However, when those that have been helped are recovered and on stable footing again, repayment of some of the costs does not seem like a big ask.
The other source of the money needed to support those that have served should be coming from the pockets of the arms and ammunition companies that always make huge amounts of money from war. Those profits never seem to slow down because these companies have people in Congress that seem to be willing to involve us in every little conflict no matter how big or how far removed from our security it might be.
After we have gone to war, lost some folks and injured a bunch more they come home and are denied benefits and the dealers are given tax breaks. Somehow that does not seem fair. Maybe rather than asking the nations we helped we should be taking a percentage from the arms dealers, a much bigger percentage than we are now. Radical thinking for sure

Education is important whether it is our children getting educated in the classroom, on the playground or at home. Thing is education never stops, or the opportunity for education never stops, some just choose to ignore the opportunity.
So on to the lesson at hand. There is a publication called 2025 put out by the Heritage Foundation and it is claimed to be the manifesto for the second term of Trump as President. This is a 900 page script of all the things that are to be done both to the citizens of this country, and the country itself. It is similar to the books written by Marx reference Communism and Hilters plan for the 3000 years that his rule was to be felt.
The book tells of the massive number of people that are being recruited and trained to move into key positions in the government on day one. It describes the process of eliminating government agencies that are classified as unnecessary or that interfere with big business and their profits. The subjects include books to be banned, people to be deported, and who is the enemy of the state and to be locked up for their crimes against Trump.
That is a thumb nail sketch of the subjects and nowhere near a full list of the agencies that are to be done away with. It is afterall, a comprehensive program filled with rules and regulations, intended actions and oh so many other things that only a dictator could possibly put into place, but then he did say that was his goal.
For all friend or foe you gotta know what life is to be like in the future should we draw the short straw again. If it does nothing more than gets you to vote to save what you have and keep you from becoming even less than you are today then you should read it.
No one wants to have their view of most anything challenged by someone else, but if you get to read the words as they have been published and from the authors then acceptance becomes more likely. Accepting that it was said not necessarily accepting the outcome described.

  After reviewing a blog that gave reasons why Trump has such a loyal base suggests that those of us that disagree are missing something. Various issues were addressed and will be touched on here as well.

    He is given credit for being an outsider and outspoken. He has proven that he is both by being very uninformed about policy both foreign and domestic. About having the blatant attitude that he can steal thousands of dollars a day from public funds and make the crowd cheer about it. Reference a hotel and the cost of secret service accommodations for while he goes to play golf, among other things. There is the possibility that this went unnoticed by some as there was also the constant din of unnecessary insults and hyper\abalis bull shit that is a trademark of those that like to distract with one hand and steal with the other.

    The Make America Great Again chant indicates that somehow we ceased being great and he can change that. This, of course, is just more effort to keep things in turmoil. Yes many people have a right to feel that the rug was pulled out from under them, loss of jobs etc. They would do well to see who, and if they want to blame politics, which party was at the helm not only in the
White House but the Congress when things went wrong. 

    On that subject the attempt to get businesses back into the country was going to be done how. Well by giving wealthy business owners with overseas companies big tax breaks to give them incentive to do what? It certainly did not bring businesses back.   

    The environment and the search for mineral resources, which we have enough that we don’t need anyone else. Very true we do, but if we use ours first at some point we are over a barrel when we need more. There is the aspect of global warming which, again, is nonsense and needs to be ignored. By the time that happens our generation will be gone and why should we care about future generations. This is why we are so hot to trot over abortion and reproductive issues.

    Loyalty is a very honorable attribute, but we need to think about what we are loyal to. Most of us don’t like to have our values questioned. I get that, however, when the admitted goal of doing away with your rights, selling your country, and destroying all that is beautiful about the nation you call home for self gain by one man’ it is time to reassess that loyalty.

    Walking on eggshells when talking to people so that you do not offend is tiresome. Being the target for obnoxious name calling is also timersome. There is a middle ground and that is call civility or do unto others as you would have them do unto you. Keep in mind that no matter who you encounter in your journey that there are more things we have in common than we have to separate us. As a nurse told me once, “We all bleed red and piss yellow, so how are we different?” 

     If we look we can see a better way to do things. This is what has brought about the technology we have today. It has provided both positive and negative results over time and allowed both well intentioned as well as self serving individuals to prosper. When we choose to honor or follow we must look closely at the goals of that leader and choose accordingly, your future may well depend on it. Ask the ones from Jan 6 about that.

But despite being surrounded by an endless supply of frozen water, the coldest continent on Earth is also one of the driest — so dry, in fact, it’s technically considered a desert.

Although the parched landscapes of Death Valley or the Sahara may spring to mind when we visualize a desert, the ecosystem classification has more to do with precipitation than temperature. True deserts typically receive less than 9.8 inches of rainfall per year. Antarctica, which averages just 2 inches of annual precipitation, meets this definition; at 5.5 million square miles, it reigns as the world’s largest and coldest desert. In comparison, Africa’s Sahara desert — the world’s largest hot desert — spans just 3.6 million square miles; its dusty sand dunes receive about an inch more rainfall than Antarctica doesper year.

Antarctica’s harsh climate doesn’t equally share its annual allotment of rain, and some areas are practically devoid of showers. The McMurdo Dry Valleys, a snow-free region located west of the McMurdo Sound, are considered one of the driest places on Earth. Some researchers believe the flat-topped hills haven’t seen measurable precipitation or flowing water in 14 million years— an extreme drought that’s unlikely to end any time soon thanks to the placement of nearby mountains, freezing temperatures, and unforgivingly strong winds that can reach up to 200 miles per hour.

  If what was reported is true the commanding officer at Arlington Cemetery has about zero spine. The lady, a civilian employee, who is afraid of the MAGA crew chose not to press charges in the incident in area 60. Because she is not going to press charges the Army Officer states the matter is closed.

    Never mind her decision to not press charges that are in reference to being accosted, this should not answer the violation of the regulations that were not only in place but briefed to Trump and his group. The use of the grounds to promote his candidacy in against Army Regulations. Let’s get the Joint Chiefs of Staff involved in this. The first thing they need to do is relieve that officer of his duties and possibly put him out of the Army, dishonorably.

    Again the system is giving Trump a pass when they should be doing anything but that. We are talking about the Army and that should mean something even to MAGA idiots. If they choose to come with their faces covered and mess with the cemetery then when they catch up with them the result should be swift and permanent. 

    When we went through 911 there were flags stolen from a National Cemetery. The guys that came out to that cemetery to do honors and send their brothers off properly wanted to be granted the right to guard the cemetery and carry live ammunition. One man was asked if he would really kill someone over a flag and his remark was “The son of bitch will never steal anything ever again” I guess that means yes.

     I can only imagine what would happen if anyone was stupid enough to go after someone that works there or the installation. So what are we afraid of especially when we have public opinion on our side? The matter needs to be resolved with charges and punishments being pressed on all those that had anything to do with this incident. Let’s treat this like the republicans want to treat all those that aided or abetted in an abortion. That means the Speaker of the House is on the hook as he is the one that arranged the visit.

  The effort to find a way to disqualify Harris from running grows with every turn of the sick minds of republican angst. Now they want to bring Dredd Scot into this fight which was a decision that said no black person can ever be a citizen and Kamala’s father is black. Ignore the later amendments to the Constitution and just go with the older ruling.

     Well if that is true today why did you not get on the bandwagon when she became Vice President? Kind of missed your opportunity or so it seems. Let’s have a go at Trump on an IQ test, idiots should not hold office either. He can’t be terribly smart, and went bankrupt owning a casino. Does not know how to tell the truth, thinks everyone wants a piece of his suit or something, and that going to dinner with him is a treat. 

     Tell all the black people that pay taxes they are not citizens and see how that affects things. Take them out of the military except as hired soldiers. They are an integral part of society and their contribution can not be ignored. 

    If this is such an issue about when or if a person becomes a citizen then the likes of Ted Cruz needs to be removed from Congress as his parents were Canadian at the time of his birth, or so I read somewhere. Get used to the idea that the petty crap has got to stop. Every one of these little nitpicking bull shit things takes time and energy and that effort should be spent moving our nation forward not backward.

    Think of all the things that people could claim if they are not classified as citizens. No need to obey laws, or conform to conventions. No need to pay taxes as stated before. The reason that the right is looking for an excuse to take Harris out of the running is because they know they are losing the race. They also must realize that having tied their fortunes on the tail of a jackass may well cost them any kind of power for several elections into the future.

    The 2025 project is designed to put the nation under the thumb of a dictator and keep it there, possibly forever. Well if you lose then that playbook will have to be shelved for hopefully long enough so that the poison that has been spread by the 45th President will have gone away and we can go back to civility and treat each other as we would wish to be treated. 

    The guise of Christian is so wasted on the people claiming that position. If the behavior that has been exhibited by this group for the last 9 years is something they got from the book they are reading, then they have been reading the wrong book. Check your reference and check your ticket, make sure it is not a one way pass to a place you do not want to go.

The ugly people never seem to get enough of spreading of divisive remarks. Now they are saying that Harris will only be 3/5th of a President. This is the reference that is traceable to the freeing of the slaves and giving them the vote, or rather 3/5th of a vote. The people that make such remarks should lose their right to vote altogether.
There have been a couple of other things that are supposed to be such big deals that must not be much as they are not being covered by the big “news” outlets like Fox. All the efforts to dig up some little thing to point at when they are defending a 34 times convicted felon that should be in jail and would be if the system was treating him as it treats everyone else.
Now on to the mess at Arlington National Cemetery. They have established rules for where people can take pictures and what type of activity can take place there and yet a political ad was filmed there against the rules and nothing has happened yet. Why does the DOJ not do something? Could be that it is because Arlington is under the control of the Army and they need to use the power of the UCMJ and the Military Police to resolve that issue. Start at the bottom, the guys on the cameras or start at the top, the guy with the bad makeup job but arrest someone and make the regulation known.
Anyone else that when there and violated the order would have been dealt with very swiftly and very directly. This is again a mystery as to why Trump gets a pass on everything. We are seeing the autocratic attitude of the very wealthy saying laws may be made but they are not for us to obey. We write our own laws and do as we damned well please regardless of what you think. He is not the Commander and Chief, arrest his ass.
