Have you ever been camping?

Only camping was in the Army and that wasn’t much fun so I haven’t been motivated to recreate the experience.

What are your favorite emojis?

I don’t have a 🤩 I’m a strictly Gen X guy. I like actual words.
What topics do you like to discuss?

Politics, Religion, Gun Rights, Abortion, LGBTQ… bring it on. I will gladly and politely state my position and will allow any opposition to do the same. I am more than willing and capable of defending my position on most any topic but am not so closed minded to not listen to another’s views even if I profoundly disagree.
I truly believe that we are all entitled to our opinions, but we are not entitled to force our opinions down another’s throat. We can disagree and sometimes agree to disagree. That’s just the way the world is.
When is the last time you took a risk? How did it work out?

7 years ago I walked away from depending on someone else for a pay check, I have been a 1099 independent contractor ever since and couldn’t be happier. I use technology and my enjoyment of driving to earn a living that for me does not have the stress of dealing with a corporate schedule or arguing with really smart/stupid people. In reality I have made more money doing this with less hours, less stress and drama than anything I did for ‘work’ since I was 18 years old, wish I would have taken to risk to work for myself sooner.
Describe a risk you took that you do not regret.

Today’s post falls in the same vein as Yesterdays of anything that embarrasses you. Most people take risks that they don’t initially think or beneficial, but turn out to be something that actually was helpful to them. many times the risk is worth taking even though it may seem like an active folly, but is the best action you could have taken.
Write about a time when you didn’t take action but wish you had. What would you do differently?

The query is at the root of many people’s problems, second guessing and decision instead of moving forward and learning if the decision didn’t turn out the way you hoped. We all wish we could go back and change things but currently that technology doesn’t exist, so deal with the consequences of the decision and learn from it.
What makes you nervous?

Honestly, not much.
How do you unwind after a demanding day?

I don’t generally have to do anything to unwind from a demanding day because I avoid having those demanding days. I have been working for myself for 7 years so the demands of others, which are generally the cause of stress, are no longer a factor.
How do you use social media?

I check in on facebook and instagram once in a while and every so often I post something. I have had a few virtual fights on facebook have no use for twitter or no known as X. No social media is a source of valuable information it is and should be a means of communicating with friends and/or family .
Jot down the first thing that comes to your mind.

A friend of mine posted on Facebook that this is the 250 at the anniversary of Paul Revere ride. I had to correct him by saying that there was more than one writer revere actually never finished the ride and he would’ve never yelled the British are coming because that would’ve been confusing to the colonist who were British.
