Do lazy days make you feel rested or unproductive?

I’ve been working for myself for the past six years so I don’t take days off I think this year I haven’t had a single day off and last year I had three so I don’t really have a lazy days.

When you think of the word “successful,” who’s the first person that comes to mind and why?

I don’t deify anyone as successful, we all walk our own paths and my definition of success may not be yours. Anyone who has pulled themselves out of a dark place is a success in my book. Just because you are fortunate enough to have wealth doesn’t make you successful because who knows how many people you stepped on to achieve that wealth.
If you are better today by any measure than you were yesterday, in my book you are a success and I salute you.
What makes a good neighbor?

The world is a different place, when I was a kid it was a front porch community now the front of most homes is a garage. People come home go in through garage close the door and hide in their house. I know my neighbor, next door, but we are not friends, we are cordial and friendly but that is the extent of it. My old neighborhood we were friends because of having children the same age and in school together but sadly when you move into an established neighborhood and there isn’t a child connection cordial is usually the way it goes.
What could you try for the first time?

Would love to go on a photo safari in Africa or Australia
What principles define how you live?

What have you been putting off doing? Why?

Saving any money for retirement because life always happens every time I get ahead something happens and all goes south so at 56 I don’t know that I’m gonna have time to safe retirement and just hope I don’t outlive the money I already have.

If you had a million dollars to give away, who would you give it to?

One would assume that if you had $1 million to give away anyone in your direct circle of influence would be OK as well so the question is altruism would you give the money to one person and change one person’s life or would you spread it out among many would you send multiple children to college then deserve the money or would you donate to a foundation foundation It’s hard to say but if you had an extra million dollars the altruistic thing to do would be to spread it among many.

I have a dream to operate with my son a ranch that stables retired horses, uses them as therapy from Autistic Persons, Disabled Veterans. The Horses Helping Humans Ranch would employ veterans and special needs individuals that want to work with horses and have a desire to help others.
What was the hardest personal goal you’ve set for yourself?

The hardest, personal goal I set for myself, is to stop digging my own hole, and to actually forgive other people.
