Every “road trip” I remember always had a purpose of relocating, working or retrieving something never just family fun. 2011 I drive from Milwaukee WI to Phoenix AZ in 26 hours straight through without stopping, in 1987 I drove from Seattle WA to Maryland in 40 hours without taking a break… dumb drive but at the time felt necessary. All my long drives are memorable just by the fact that I survived to talk about them.
