Oh, the United States’ immigration policies in 2025—truly a masterclass in humanitarianism and fiscal responsibility. Under President Trump’s second term, the Department of Homeland Security has introduced a $1,000 stipend for undocumented immigrants who voluntarily self-deport. Because nothing says “we care” like paying people to leave the country .

Meanwhile, the Laken Riley Act mandates the detention of immigrants charged with theft or violent crimes, even before conviction. It’s a bold move—why wait for due process when you can detain first and ask questions later? 

Not to be outdone, the administration has expanded the Guantanamo Migrant Operations Center to house up to 30,000 migrants. Because when you think “welcoming,” you think “Gitmo.” 

And let’s not forget the cherry on top: Executive Order 14159, which aims to end birthright citizenship for children of unauthorized immigrants. After all, why uphold constitutional principles when you can rewrite them? 

In summary, the 2025 immigration policies are a shining example of compassion, justice, and adherence to the rule of law. Who wouldn’t want to live in a country that treats immigrants with such dignity and respect?
