https://www.cbsnews.com/news/naacp-travel-advisory-florida-says-state-hostile-to-black-americans/
Remember the good old days when there were only travel advisories and or ban for, what some would call, third word countries? Well now because of the vile vitriol of one Governor Ron DeSantis the state of Florida, a vacation destination, has received a travel advisory by the NAACP.
The wannabe future President has made the climate so venomous in Florida the anyone who is a part of any minority group does not feel safe in the state. Black, Brown, LGTBQ+, these are all groups that are under attack in the Sunshine State. The majority Republican legislature and their fearful leader has passed laws that make almost everything a jailable offence and the fact that the state has very loose gun laws and a stand your ground law makes it more dangerous than being a blonde female in central America.
Florida residents are able to carry concealed guns without a permit under a bill signed into law by Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis. The law, which goes into effect on July 1, means that anyone who can legally own a gun in Florida can carry a concealed gun in public without any training or background check. This with their ridiculous stand your ground law, ‘Florida’s “Stand-Your-Ground” law was passed in 2005. The law allows those who feel a reasonable threat of death or bodily injury to “meet force with force” rather than retreat. Similar “Castle Doctrine” laws assert that a person does not need to retreat if their home is attacked.’ Makes it really sketchy to go there.
This in top of the don’t say gay rule and the new trans ruling that just passed.
“Florida lawmakers have no shame. This discriminatory bill is extraordinarily desperate and extreme in a year full of extreme, discriminatory legislation. It is a cruel effort to stigmatize, marginalize and erase the LGBTQ+ community, particularly transgender youth. Let me be clear: gender-affirming care saves lives. Every mainstream American medical and mental health organization – representing millions of providers in the United States – call for age-appropriate, gender-affirming care for transgender and non-binary people.
“These politicians have no place inserting themselves in conversations between doctors, parents, and transgender youth about gender-affirming care. And at the same time that Florida lawmakers crow about protecting parental rights they make an extra-constitutional attempt to strip parents of – you guessed it! – their parental rights. The Human Rights Campaign strongly condemns this bill and will continue to fight for LGBTQ+ youth and their families who deserve better from their elected leaders.”
This law makes it possible for anyone to just accuse someone of gender affirming care to have their child taken from them this would include someone traveling from out of state. This alone justifies a travel ban to the Magic Kingdom for families.
Oh, and I haven’t even mentioned DeSantis holy war with Disney, the largest employer in the state. I really hope the Mouse eats this ass holes lunch.
Well that’s enough bitching, thanks again for suffering though my rant.

MONEY$$
Lyle Northey (Silent/Boomer)
Most of us are aware of the line in the Declaration that states “All Men are Created Equal”. Yep, we are all equipped with a heart, a brain, eyes, and all the other basic parts. The big thing that makes us different is not a physical attribute, it is status, money, call it what you will that is what makes us different. It was in the time of Washington and Jefferson, and it does today.
Why does it matter so much? With money you are capable of leveraging power and a place at the head table. If you look you see it everywhere, the people that get seated in a restaurant when it is crowded, the people that sit in the front row at church. These are the ones that have money, and they make sure others know it and expect everyone to concede to their wishes.
So, politics is no different if you don’t have money or at least access to people that will provide money you cannot get elected. Those that provide usually have strings attached, even people with money themselves usually have some agenda they hope to impose because they are running things. Recently we have been told that corporations are people too so when they put money on a certain pony, they expect to get the ride they paid for.
Let’s take the money out of the equation and look at the people that have either been elected or at least run for office. If you listen to some of the speeches that these people make you can easily remember people that you have known in your life that were and are a lot smarter. So why is the smart one not running, money.
As for the corporation nonsense, let’s make it mandatory that the corporation only gets one vote. So look to see who is the CEO, all listed on the Board of Directors, and all of the ones known to be in upper management and all those individuals will have that one vote. Another way to clear the deck on this issue is to take all listed voters to a blood drive, and if you do not at least try to give blood you have no vote. That should take care of the corporation votes. Now we just need to get their money out of the picture.
If money is the only difference that makes smart people stay out of the race and stupid or limited people enter, we need to find a way to put the smart ones, the ones that know how to work with others, and the ones that make decisions based on the best for the most. We have tests and quizzes for everything else. Why not that?
Money being the reason or catalyst for all sorts of things. Saving some for the future, investing some to help with kids’ college, or whatever. Now we do have some that are interested in money for the sake of money, it is an aphrodisiac, a stimulant or it is just your ultimate goal.
We know that documents were taken that constrained secrets and that sort of thing is worth a lot of money. We know that we had a significant number of undercover people die after a list of those people was requested. It is sad that one man’s rise to power and now fall to despair has put our nation at risk because of his fixation on money.
If you believe he is alone then consider that one man is trying to buy the Supreme Court and he has managed to get one or possibly two justices so far. We have organizations that have used membership funds for personal gain. At every turn there is someone that has a hand out or in someone else’s pocket. Trust is also a commodity and it should not be for sale, it should be earned and cherished well beyond any monetary worth. Honesty is the thing that allows you to keep your head up and not be afraid to answer questions. We are all capable of being honest and trustworthy unfortunately many choose not to be for the sake of riches. If there is any truth to Scrooge then some are carrying very heavy chains.

Censure
Dwain Northey (Gen X)
Censure is a formal statement of disapproval in the form of a resolution that is adopted by majority vote. The term “censure” is not found in the Constitution, and the word does not have to appear in the resolution.
Adam Schiff was censured in the House of Representatives by the Republicans for having the temerity to investigate the former head of the Executive branch for crimes he is currently under indictment for.
Here is the charge.
“Adam Schiff launched an all-out political campaign built on baseless distortions against a sitting U.S. president,” Ms. Luna said. The censure accused him of engaging in “falsehoods, misrepresentations and abuses of sensitive information” as he sought to unearth connections between Mr. Trump and Russia.
To anyone who has been paying attention, everything Schiff accused Trump of doing has been proven to be true. This means the Republican are just mad because they got caught and the Democrats finally had the balls to call them out, not only call them out but prove that they were guilty.
The last member to be censured was Representative Paul Gosar, Republican of Arizona, in 2021, after he posted a manipulated video on his social media depicting himself killing Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Democrat of New York, and attacking Mr. Biden.
Threatening to murder a fellow member of the House seems to be a valid reason to censure someone and MTG was removed from committees for threats and outright lies so censuring Adam Schiff for provable facts seems to be an appropriate response.
The republicans not only wanted Schiff censured but they wanted him expelled and fined $17millon. Wow the redhat party really has issues with the truth. Donny Dumbass even put out a statement that any GOP house member that didn’t vote for the censure would be primaried for their seat.
How does this twice impeached, loser of the popular vote twice, federally indited on 37 counts, convicted sexual offender, have power over sitting members in the republican party? I really want to know…
The Mueller Investigation that Adam Schiff is being censured for did not exonerate Trump of anything but did have some notable convictions.
Roger Stone
Stone, a longtime Trump associate and political consultant, was indicted in January on seven charges related to lying to investigators about efforts by top Trump campaign aides to learn about WikiLeaks plans to release emails that Russian operatives had stolen from the Clinton campaign and Democratic National Committee.
Michael Flynn
Trump’s former national security adviser pleaded guilty in December 2017 to lying to investigators about meetings with Russians during the presidential transition. He cooperated with Mueller under a plea agreement and still awaits sentencing.
Michael Cohen
Trump’s former personal lawyer and fixer pleaded guilty in November 2018 to lying to Congress about a proposed real-estate deal in Moscow. He also pleaded guilty in August 2018 to charges related to making hush money payments to two women who claimed to have had sex with Trump. Cohen was sentenced in December 2018 to three years in prison.
Paul Manafort
Trump’s former campaign chairman was convicted in August of tax and bank charges. He also pleaded guilty in September to conspiracy to commit money laundering, tax fraud and failing to register to represent foreign interests, and to obstruction of justice. Manafort was sentenced to 7.5 years in prison.
Rick Gates
Gates worked for Manafort before and during the campaign and also headed Trump’s inaugural committee. He pleaded guilty in February 2018 to conspiracy and lying to FBI agents and prosecutors. He cooperated with Mueller and awaits sentencing.
Konstantin Kilimnik
Kilimnik is an alleged Russian spy who worked with Manafort and Gates in Kiev. He was indicted in June 2018 on charges of conspiracy to obstruct justice.
George Papadopoulos
Papadopoulos, a foreign policy adviser to the Trump campaign, pleaded guilty in October 2017 to lying to FBI agents. He served 14 days in prison and was ordered to pay a $9,500 fine and complete 200 hours of community service.
Alex van der Zwaan
Dutch attorney Alex van der Zwaan pleaded guilty in February 2018 to lying to FBI agents about his work for Manafort and Gates. He served 30 days in prison
and was fined $20,000.
Richard Pinedo
Pinedo pleaded guilty in February 2018 to identity fraud for trading in bank account numbers from stolen identities that were then used by the Russians. Pinedo was sentenced to six months in prison and ordered to complete 100 hours of community service.
12 Russian nationals tied to hacking
The twelve Russians were indicted in July 2018 on charges related to a conspiracy to hack Democratic computers with the goal of influencing the 2016 election. Charges included aggravated identity theft and money laundering.
Internet Research Agency
Thirteen Russian nationals and three entities, including the Internet Research Agency, were indicted in February 2018 with conspiracy to defraud the U.S. for interfering with the election. Three were charged with conspiracy to commit wire and bank fraud. Five were charged with aggravated identity theft.
Now let’s see what the Durham Report found…
Just three prosecutions resulted from Durham’s investigation. Former FBI lawyer Kevin Clinesmith pleaded guilty, admitting that he doctored an email that was submitted to the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court as part of an application used to surveil former Trump campaign adviser Carter Page.
Prominent Democratic lawyer Michael Sussmann was acquitted on charges of lying to investigators about his ties to Clinton’s presidential campaign when he brought allegations to the FBI related to the Trump investigation.
The case against Russian analyst Igor Danchenko also ended with an acquittal. Danchenko was accused of lying to investigators about the sources of information he provided to Christopher Steele, a former British intelligence officer behind the controversial dossier about Trump and Russia.
The Mueller report cost the government. The cost was said to be approximately $32million but investigation had acquired somewhere between $26 million and $42 million worth of revenue for the federal treasury. So that looks like it either cost $6million or netted $10million.
The Durham report cost $6.5million and produced nothing.
I think that the person that called for Durhams sham investigation should be censured… can we look into that.

We’re All Pawns
Lyle Northey (Silent/Boomer)
It seems that our representatives, some of them anyway, are again looking to reduce social security payments to make sure their rich friends do not have to pay any taxes. The fact that the majority of us live as pawns in a giant chess game is really a pain. When anything troubles the very wealthy, it is always the middle class and poor that are targeted to be the ones whose income is targeted to fix these problems.
In truth this group of congressional leaders would probably like to see the age to collect retirement raised to 70 with mandatory termination at age 69. Would not change the collection process, it would just eliminate the paying out process.
We have lived to see a fair number of Star Trek innovations come to pass. Hopefully we will never have to deal with the one where everyone has to be put to death by a certain age. At present with the gun culture that we have going on and all the shootings that are happening on a near daily basis we will keep our population in check. Has anyone seen a news article that said X number of births recorded today with Y number of deaths natural and not so natural.?
Let’s have a look at targeted groups for reduced benefits. First start with the bottom rung, like do away with school lunches, next rung is welfare and help for the needy. Then we move on to the aged population and any help that may have gone in their direction, then veterans’ benefits, and if it were not for the people that served in uniform that lot of suit and tie bastards would not have a place to hang out and vote on these issues. Then we move on to the other social issue of social security because we are rich and don’t need it, so you don’t need it either. Beyond that we will stop building roads, taking care of bridges, providing help in the event of disaster and go have another drink with our elite buddies that do not want to pay taxes.
Every person currently serving or that has ever served in congress has made speeches and made promises and turned around and broken those promises. Many had good ideas, and a few may have really hoped that they could do some good, but because of party lines being what they are none of these people were able to accomplish much. If we put a bit of effort into talking to people on both sides of the house, we might just get something done, but we let the ranking members call the tunes and we are not allowed to cross that line for any reason.
The military is an autocratic society or was at one time. Current-day attitudes seem to be pretty open with not a great deal of respect for rank, or so it seems. The members of congress are all civilians, and their positions are titles that may require a bit of deference, but they should not have punitive powers over any other members. The reality of how they conduct themselves indicates that senior members seem to take a great deal of pleasure in bossing the junior members and do so regularly. The only ones that seem to run their mouths without engaging their brains and an ounce of common-sense wear MAGA hats.
Read a comic today that one character claimed to have gotten a letter from the government telling him he had used up his bad attitude credits and from now he had to be nice. What an idea. Would like to see the results be something like the film about a person that could never lie, that would be remarkable to say the very least. Without telling fibs how do you answer the question, “Does this pair of pants make me look fat?”
Not everyone in the country has the resources to be self-sufficient and yet there are people that believe we all should be. Our cities are filled with more and more apartments and the hope of being independent from the marketplace is a fantasy. Some communities have garden spaces for use by local folks but again you are not going to produce enough to sustain life for very long in a small garden. Even people that have access to wilderness areas find it to be very time costly to hunt, fish, grow and preserve all that is needed to sustain.
Farming is not easy and sometimes it is not very profitable or rewarding as man still cannot control factors such as weather. These days we have some very unusual swings in the weather that make trying to work around nature can be a bit of a problem. The point is that we are all dependent on each other whether you are at the bottom of the ladder or the top you are impacted by the same elements just maybe not to the same degree or intensity.
It is hard to imagine that anyone sets out in life with the hope of failing so we all want to at least make some sort of mark and we all have the same destination ultimately whether we like it or not. So, the best we can do is to cooperate with each other, not get annal about our differences and celebrate our similarities.

He didn’t Pull the Sword from the Stone
Lyle Northey (Silent/Boomer)
The current issue with the hijack king is called election interference. With the all so relevant issue of insurrection on the table it is hard to imagine that election qualification is even an issue. For those not in the know, read the 14th Amendment and pay close attention to article 3.
If there are any states attorney generals that are not preparing to remove him from their ballot box it has to mean our entire system has just gone down the drain. It might be possible to see this in red states, but they all want to be very careful to make sure that at some point they did not irritate, anger or cross a certain individual that has it in mind to punish all that have stood in his way and everyone else just because he can if he gets elected.
Claiming to be all knowing and all powerful and people believing this nonsense. History has proven time and time again that no one man possesses all that much authority or power. Every dictator, every want to be king, and every power hunger monster that has ever been spawned has failed to achieve world domination. What they have done is cause an awful lot of damage, untold deaths and a place in the history books that should be studied just to keep us from allowing the same thing to happen again.
The office of President, in this country, does not grant personal powers of your ordinary despot. We do not grant control to one branch of government in such a way as they get away with whatever they wish to do. At least that is the way it was set up with the idea that it should be near impossible for the President, the Congress and the Supreme Court to all view everything in the same way and be willing to allow anyone branch or individual to have complete control.
For all of you that put so much faith in the teachings of the Bible you still have the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost so even that level of leadership has a committee to make decisions. So, blowing smoke up your ass and telling you he is your salvation is completely out to lunch.
We saw all kinds of things in his first term that should have caused revolution in even the most loathsome segment of our population. When your neighbor’s house is on fire you try to put it out and offer comfort to those that have lost everything, at least that is the civilized thing to do. California had fires yet help from the federal level was limited, criticism was great saying they should have taken better care of the federal reserve forests. Somehow did we missed that federal does not mean state of in any case.
There was the exhortations of leaders like Putin, and the dude in North Korea, how he was doing a really good job as a ruler at such a young age. How when the Chinese voted in a President for life it was noted that we should do the same thing and save all the problems of campaigning etc. How Kim Il would give a speech and all his people would sit quietly and listen and wouldn’t it be nice if MY people would do the same.
The king takes what he wants, your wife or daughter, or son if he so inclined. Your wife and or daughter cannot complain as under this rule they have no say, they are chattel. All this could be our fate if the man that wishes to do away with the Constitution gets another shot at the WH.
Our system may not be perfect, and we have some problems, but if this is such a bad place to live in as it is, why are so many coming to our borders and shores looking to get in? I don’t think it is that they want to pick strawberries in Florida, it is because in spite of some rough road here and there it is better than what they came from.
Salvation is only going to be for those that made the mistake of attempting to overthrow an election to help a bad-tempered little boy with a gigantic ego. If you agreed with that process and have not been contacted reference punishment you should feel lucky and put your big boy pants on and get on with it.
He will not be giving anyone salvation if he ends up behind bars and that is a very real possibility. If he deals his way out of that fate, then you probably will not be voting for him because he will not be allowed to run for office of any kind including dog catcher. The bottom line is this nation does not need his kind of leadership or that of a couple of the states that are attempting to pull themselves back to at least the 1950’s and earlier if possible.
If you thought those were great times, ask yourself why we had so much racial and political tension happening. It was not because all was well.

Solstice
Dwain Northey (Gen X)
Here is a little science lesson for you flat earthers… Today is the Summer Solstice. It’s the longest day and shortest night in the Northern Hemisphere. It’s also the first official day of summer.
I know that’s news to all of you that thought Memorial Day weekend was the being of Summer. Sorry to disappoint.
So, what actually is the Solstice? A solstice is an event that occurs when the Sun appears to reach its most northerly or southerly excursion relative to the celestial equator on the celestial sphere. Two solstices occur annually, around June 21 and December 21. In many countries, the seasons of the year are determined by the solstices and the equinoxes.
Crazy right… now if the Earth wasn’t a sphere and didn’t circle our nearest star (THE SUN) with an elliptical orbit we wouldn’t have a summer or winter solstice. In fact we wouldn’t have seasons at all.
The flat earth theory is that the earth isn’t a globe or a sphere in it a plate, that right a round plate. Many flat-Earthers agree that the sun perfectly circles the ring of the equator on the equinox; however, to account for the equal hours of daytime and nighttime, the models make a few tweaks to how the sun itself looks and behaves.
While you might envision the sun as an enormous ball of exploding gas located 93 million miles (150 million kilometers) away, a flat-Earther would see it as a teeny, tiny spotlight hovering just over the Earth. How teeny and how close is it? According to the early flat-Earth thinker Samuel Birley Rowbotham, who published the influential treatise “Zetetic Astronomy: Earth Not a Globe” in 1881, the sun is only about 32 miles (52 km) in diameter and hovers anywhere from 400 to 700 miles (640 to 1,130 km) above the Earth, depending on the month.
“The sun moves in circles around the North Pole. When it is over your head, it’s day. When it’s not, it’s night. The light of the sun is confined to a limited area, and its light acts like a spotlight upon the Earth.”
The diameter of these sun-circles governs the seasons. According to one popular theory, the sun circles closest to the North Pole in June, then spends the next six months spiraling slowly outward toward the ice wall at the edge of the world. In December, the sun reverses course, and spirals back inward again. During the spring and autumn equinoxes, the sun circles in a perfect loop around the equator, casting light on half of the disc world at any given time.
Holy shit that makes perfect sense…
Still doesn’t explain how if you fly west from LA and travel 24,900 miles without changing course you will return to LA. That’s some next level mind screw shit there. Why if the earth is flat why did Columbus think that he could reach Inda from Spain by sailing West? For those of you that don’t know India is geographically South-East of Spain.
If you can look at pictures from space, justify why satellite’s function, or how lunar eclipses are a thing and still believe we live on a round flat plate, well I can’t help you. Good luck with you future endeavors and try not to fall off the edge.

Anyone read the Turner Diaries?
(Morons Guide to Anarchy)
Lyle Northey (Silent/Boomer)
The recent events of power station vandalism and the bridge collapse in Pennsylvania are possibly tied to an effort to start a revolution. If that is the case, it is hoped that all those behind this rather grandiose plan of ignorance get caught and jailed sooner as opposed to later. Why the devil do people believe they are going to end up with something better if they do away with what we currently have.
If this is really a racially motivated effort, they need to keep in mind that their ancestors are the ones that brought others here for the purpose of doing the dirty work. If they did not want them to end up as citizens then they should have limited the time any could stay, brought them in as foreign work force and paid them like the Kuati’s or just did the work themselves. The supremacy crap is just so stupid.
Entire civilizations have been lost because of the desire of one group trying to either rob or enslave another. The natives of South America had gold, they wore it openly, they used it in everything. It was easy to find they did not have to mine it; it was just in the rivers to be had. The Spanish were gold crazy and they wanted to take as much as possible back to Spain and instead of just collecting it themselves they were killing and taking what the native population had worked.
It is interesting that one part of the world has so much of it that it can be found without effort and other parts seem to have none that can be found without strenuous effort. The same hold for diamonds. All mineral wealth seems to be very easily found in one place and totally not found in others.
Back to the idea of a civil war to overthrow the government and install someone to rule the nation. Current thinking is that Trump should be that ruler, he is especially in favor of this as it would allow him to be of the same standing as the various leaders (?) that he so quickly calls friends. We do not need to have a king, or emperor of a czar or any other form of self-anointed nincompoop that believes he runs everything and all jump to his commands.
Effort is being made in several states to establish the kind of atmosphere that promotes the type of environment that is suited to a despot leader. Do not trust your neighbor or even your family as you may have a secret that could make them some money if they knew and reported it. Trump is calling the DOJ fascist and all sorts of other things and yet if you look at the way he operates he is the one that is the fascist.
All this bellowing “out to get me” and “travesty of justice” is a lot of crap. He brought this on to himself with the idea in mind that if he held onto those documents the government would pay him to give them back, as happened with Nixon, don’t know if that is true or not. At any rate he is by his own admission guilty of the charges, and he needs to put on his big boy pants and pay the piper just like his former lawyer did.
Of course, the republican party is standing there whining about all this being so unjust, but no one spoke up when shit was traveling the other direction, they were all on board with it. They want to do away with mail in voting, that is so they hope they are able to control the places people would have to go to vote and make it so uncomfortable that people would give up and not bother. Another route to follow is to control the vote, control the congress and control the country. That line of thinking is likely to turn ugly before it is all over with, and if it does, we can only hope that the people the ugly gets unleashed on are the ones that are currently trying to make the rules.
Anyone that has ever acted in a tractorist fashion and been caught has not been treated like some sort of abused baby. That is not the case with Trump, people for some reason beyond my comprehension, seem to be afraid of what he might do. Since he acts more like the pied piper, I suppose the reason for fear is because he may unleash his rats on the rest of us. At this point in all that is going on reference the classified and the efforts to hide things and the lies it should be time for all that were willing to follow him down the rat hole to be rethinking their priorities and loyalties.
Most of this nations’ more important A list types of people have had things named after them, or coins and bill minted with their image on them, but I have yet to see or hear of anything named Benedict or Arnold. Trump has all kinds of stuff with his name on it, and he would change the name of the nation to Trump if he were able. The two things that drive him are greed and fame, not love of country and patriotism.
Should we worry about the reaction of his loyalist followers? In the short-term trouble is likely as no one wants to back the loser, many will not let that go without a fight. With the arming of the nation through all the recent gun laws violence would seem to be a very likely outcome. It is unfortunate that our nation would fall victim to such an outcome over one man’s ego, but as the law says, “there is no excuse for ignorance”.
Will we survive that conflict? More than likely, especially once it has been determined that the catalyst for the strife is no longer with us. At that point we will have to start rebuilding and hopefully the order of the day will not be to hang everyone that raised arms against or defied the winning side, which we hope will be the side for democracy.

Independence or Blind Obedience
Lyle Northey (Silent/Boomer)
The 4th of July is nearly here, our nation’s birthday and the symbol of our nation is still being held hostage by a minority of our citizens that claim they represent the stars and stripes more proudly than the rest of us.
Most societies are complex, they have those that are very conservative and others that are liberal in their outlook. It does not matter what title or name they give to these groups; it still comes down to the idea that the more conservative you are the less likely you are to feel compelled to show interest in your neighbor’s plight. Self-interest is the name of the game, as long as I have what I need you are on your own. Another way to mark the difference is that the conservatives usually are landowners, and the liberals work on the land.
Landowners tend to either view that land as a way to cultivate it and reap the benefits or rape the land and rip out the assets. Either way they are not often generous in sharing the rewards of the enterprise. Our nation was founded by men that owned the land and because of that they had a voice where others did not and a king and the government behind him were doing their best to rip the wealth away from the colonies.
Even after the revolution was over the landowners kept power. They allowed the other men to vote, they just put stop gaps in place to make sure the vote would go the way they wanted to go, it is called the electoral college. This was put in place to overcome the lack of education of the common man. Even when the practice of slavery ended, they held the power by wanting to give people of color ⅗ of a vote.
Today it is called gerrymandering. Working in the voting districts so that a minority ends up with the majority of the representation. A portion of that group runs around calling themselves patriots, when they in fact do not represent American values, and they defile our national emblem by hanging it on all sorts of vehicles and getting it filthy and allowing it to fly when it is torn and soiled.
A patriot will answer the call to defend the nation against foreign invaders, a patriot does not take up arms against his neighbor because he does not agree with you about a certain policy, procedure, or law. These differences are the ones we discuss and find mutual ground to settle not threaten or are willing to kill because one or two people didn’t get their way.
We have a huge problem with homelessness, and it is costing us millions of dollars. We have the only country in the world that practices live shooter exercises in our public schools. That is also costing us dearly not only in dollars but in the mental and emotional problems of our youth, our nation’s future. Will someone turn off the dissenting bastard with the microphone and kick his ass out of the building?
A national political party allowed itself to be hijacked and that hijacker used what he has always used to get what he wanted. The more base the language and the more schoolyard bully tactics he could use seemed to fire up some that were never really into politics before and shouldn’t be now. Our political system is dysfunctional and has been since the early 60’s because they put through a rider on a bill that allowed them to make determinations for themselves about wages, health care, retirement, and benefits. They do not need to listen to the voters on any of those issues; it is all in house.
The second time around the bully did not make it back into office, very upsetting as he had hopes of becoming King. At any rate a lot of things happened that should not have happened and our court system, our news establishment, and law enforcement as well as several individuals have ended up with problems that we may not see over and done for quite a long time to come.
We are having armed individuals show up at voting places and what is their purpose? Are they there to help or intimidate voters. If you are uncomfortable with this type of show, then are you going to go vote? Threats, intimidation, and efforts to cast doubt on the voting process need to be treated as you would an armed robbery. Let’s take it a step further and call for disqualification of the candidate that has called for this type of interference. Can you see the blame game going on that issue?
In leu of having the nation torn apart because of the outcome of an election just bar the person that has already proven himself to be unfit and tell that party to find another qualified candidate or withdraw. Qualified means someone who is actually supportive of the Constitution not out trying to destroy it.
The latest gambit is the one about a news person suggesting that maybe he can get a pardon if he withdraws for the election, and of course, this is out of the question as he is in the fight to protect you. This is the same type of story as the one about running a human bondage center out of the basement of a building that doesn’t have a basement. More hero worship or put me on a pedestal as I am your savior.
Power and the money that hopefully goes with it are the prizes in this game and the country and all the people in it are nothing more than pawns on the chess board.
