   We have not had many of our citizens that felt they needed or wanted to sell our country or its secrets. The ones that have been discovered doing such things have met different fates at different times in history. Currently we tend to lock them up and forget they are there, at least as far as the news is concerned. What to do with the current chop of traitors especially since the one most notable for his treason was once the President, what a sad day that was when he got elected. 

   Now we are entering another election cycle and the people that wish to run for office, especially President, are rather a scary bunch. We have the traitor running again, and then an idiot that considers that his position on everything is the path to be followed and that can only lead to one dark dirty place, up his ass. We also have the individuals that instead of telling us the positive side of their reason to run are telling us the negative side of the opposition if they have it right, which in most cases they do not.

   The focus seems to be that if we tell everyone including ourselves lies long enough then we have a chance that everyone will believe and we will get our way. So tell everyone how bringing Republicans into office is going to help. The course seems to be set for ultraconservative values, no abortion, no assisted death, no time off for maternity leave, no assistance with day care, no school lunches, encourage your neighbor to spy on you and report your activities to authority for a reward of course. Have we covered most of the positives of Republican politics?

   Woke fear is supposed to be the damning danger from Democrats, who are attempting to fix roads, bridges, and the like. The ones that help with homelessness, school lunches and women’s health issues, just to name a couple. They are not banning and burning books, telling you what your children should or shouldn’t read, or encouraging your neighbor to spy on you. Where would you rather live, in a country that allows for individualism or one that basically builds a prison around each individual and tries to keep you there for as long as possible?

   The new indictment is on the books and it is only going after the guy at the top of the trash heap. With the track record of never being held responsible for anything this one has to be a very unpleasant situation. How will he attempt to talk his way out? Blaming his legal counsel as usual will be one of the games. Plead ignorance of the law, claim the tooth fairy or the bad hair guy told him to do it? 

   The need to make Trump accountable for his efforts to remain in office even though he clearly lost the election gets to be more necessary as days pass. His staff on Jan 6, 2020 were willing to go to violence in the streets to keep him in office and it seems that there are still people today that have that mind set. It would be a real blow to our democracy if it became necessary to meet these individuals with open hostilities but if we must we must. Trump is not loyal to anyone or anything except self. If people die to get him back in office then I am sure that may keep him awake for 10 or 20 seconds.

   Some of the news programs are anything but informative about this entire proceeding. If he is going to be arrested then let it happen and hold him for 48 to 96 hours without allowing for bond or interview. His former position should not protect him from being subjected to the laws that affect everyone else. It is a hell of a thing to say but if the man that had done what he has done and keeps doing, the threats, the lies, the challenges to the legal system, was not white it would not fly.

   Justice is supposed to be blind but fair, unfortunately justice is administered by quite a few people that are just plain stupid. They are in the legal profession to enrich themselves and the cost to others has nothing to do with how they handle a case, who they represent or the outcome of the preceding as long as they get paid. 

   The selection of judges by the president may be totally accepted in our system but somehow you have to wonder how they get picked, how are they known and who endorsed them to receive an appointment. The last lot of picks for the Supreme Court certainly prove that the screening process needs work.

   More calls by Trump to create a threat to any and all that oppose him in any way. Telling a prosecutor in Georgia that they will not see Christmas if they continue to push their case. Giving out addresses of people that he feels are adversaries with the expected result of someone going to that address and harming someone. Mr. Trump needs to be put in a box that has no way to communicate and held until he goes on trial. That trial should also be mobile as conducted on a ship or moved from one location to another every night. All of this drama would not be taking place if he just was man enough to admit he lost an election and let it go.

   The nation has been bombarded with this absolute nonsense beginning in 2015 and it still goes on. The amount of money people have put in the pot to either assist or resist this idiot is staggering. How many people living on the street are there because they put what they had on a losing horse.?

So, for those of you that live under a rock, Jack Smith has handed down an indictment containing 4 counts against DJT (defendant) for his action in the January 6, 2021, attempt to subvert the 2020 Presidential Election.

Jack Smith isn’t screwing around this indictment should block Donald from ever being able to seek office under Section 3 of the Fourteenth Amendment prohibits anyone who has previously taken an oath of office (Senators, Representatives, and other public officials) from holding public office if they have “engaged in insurrection or rebellion” against the United States. Every State should disallow his name from appearing on the ballot. Unfortunately, the lemmings that are still in his camp will continue to decry ‘witch hunt’ and insist that their godking be elevated to a position of power.

Even his republican challengers for the nomination should be shouting this form the roof tops but only Chris Christy to this point has taken the orange menace to task for his crimes. Granted I would love to watch Donald fall again to attain or regain the White House but my joy in watching him spin out of control is secondary to my desire to strengthen our democracy.

I realize that if DJT isn’t the republican nominee it could be Florida Governor Ron DeSantis and he is deplorable as well. If he is the nominee, he certainly can’t run on his record as Governor. The national average inflation rate was 3%, but in the Miami-Fort Lauderdale-West Palm Beach metro area, inflation rates reached 9%, according figures released by the Consumer Price Index this week. The Tampa-Clearwater metro area saw inflation rates of 7.3%, according to the CPI. Seriously, how can he go into a national debate and tout ‘make America Florida’ when under his charge Florida has a higher inflation rate than China and Brazil. Not to mention his fight with Disney or that he could be brought up on federal charges for human trafficking for his shipping immigrants to sanctuary cities, or banning books, I could keep going… This walking tumor should not be in the White House either.

So lets focus on the 3^rd indictment of a former President and just hope that he has lost enough of his supporters so that there wont be violence in the streets.
