I wish I could experience the sense of wonder and joy that lives in a child’s heart but as an adult the ugliness of the world has forever tainted that experience.😢

Carry on to deeper understanding. The kid in there can still be amazed if you push beyond what you think you know. I too have a cynical outlook. So I feel you on the heartbreak.
