A frustrating, trope, or characterization of characters in movies I’ve gotten better, but it’s always the distraught female who needs your help. The avengers movies tried to kick that to the curb with Scarlett Johansson‘s character that she would be idiot men into giving her information by acting demure or hurt, but that trope has been perpetuated infinite item for 100 years or hundreds of years in books and movies and TV shows and you name it that the women are the weaker sex when anybody who’s been married or lived with a woman knows that that’s not true.
